Sun., 2/3/13 Santa Fe Trails Show and Swap (Lawrence, KS)

Wow!  What a spectacular event!  100 of the most beautiful antique motorcycles were displayed representing nearly one million dollars in value.  Truly stunning.  A tip of the hat to the Santa Fe Trails antique motorcycle club for creating such a strong regional event.

Asian stock and cafe racer bikes included the four major brands:  Kawasaki, Honda, Yamaha, and Suzuki.  There were KZs, CBs, CLs, CTs, GLs, RDs, GTs, SRs, a Z1-R, a TY250, an IT400D, an MX360 and an H2.  Very nice bikes appeared and I hope to see them attend our KCVJMC events this year.

For non-Asian bikes there were a few highlights.  There was a 1914 Flying Merkel, *two* Brough-Superior, 1924 ACE, 1917 Excelsior, *two* Vincents, and a Velosette.  BMW, BSA, Triumph, HD, Indian, Royal Enfield, Norton, Moto Guzzi, NSU, Puch and Montesa all had a strong representation as well.

A special thank you to all members helping staff our KCVJMC booth.  We gave away almost 500 fliers for our May show.  Fantastic job, everyone!  We kept hearing people were excited to learn about KCVJMC and can't wait for our May event.  Thanks, again, for your continued support.
